What to look for:

Tuesday Night J&J Shop Rides

J&J Cycle in partnership with LCC have a weekly Tuesday Shop Ride starting Tuesday, April 16. All participants must have an Ontario Cycling Membership (for liability). Ride starts at 6:00 pm sharp from the parking lot of J&J Cycle (1690 Bath Road). Route is 54 km J&J Cycle Shop Ride Route . This is a fast ride (35kph+), where riders will likely be dropped. These riders should regroup to form another group to work together.

Wednesday Night Women’s Rides

LCC Womens Ride April 17th - We will ride west this week with a 5:30 start at Stauffer Library then riding to Trek Kingston for 6:00pm to pick up any others. Trek has kindly agreed to stay open so stop in and say hello. Hope to see lots of women.

Please note: All club rides require Ontario Cycling insurance included in your associate membership or race license. Uninsured riders can purchase a $15 OC3-day pass” on CCN.

Also look to the calendar for special OC sanctioned “Try-a-Ride” , uninsured riders can sign a free waiver.

Formed in 2022

The purpose of Limestone City Cycling (LCC) is to bring together the cycling community within Kingston Ontario. The club is inclusive to both first-time cyclists who are wanting to learn how to ride within a group as well as seasoned competitive cyclists.

Insurance

As part of your OCA membership you are enrolled in their group insurance program which includes liability and sports accident coverage. Additional optional coverage available can extend the accident coverage to individual training rides, or all cycling activity. Details of the insurance program can be found here.

Membership

Membership fees for LCC Kingston in 2023 have been set at $40.00 (under 18 years is free). In addition to your LCC membership fee you must be a member of OCA, either via an Associate Club Membership ($48), Provincial Racing License ($90), or a UCI Race License (varies). Benefits

You also receive benefits from affiliate businesses. Under 18 riders also get a $100 credit towards a club jersey.
